BAY VILLAGE, Ohio—On October 1, 2025, the Grand Council of Theta Phi Alpha voted to close the Gamma Mu Chapter at Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York, effective December 19, 2025. This decision, though difficult, was made after careful evaluation of ongoing sustainability challenges impacting the chapter. The Gamma Mu Chapter was initially installed on May 20, 2006.

This decision, though difficult, was made after careful evaluation of ongoing sustainability challenges impacting the chapter. The Gamma Nu Chapter was initially installed on November 10, 2017.
