What drives you to volunteer for Theta Phi Alpha?
Volunteering for Theta Phi Alpha is both a responsibility and a privilege for me. It is an opportunity to honor the women who came before us, while helping shape a meaningful membership experience for those who will follow. Mentorship and developing others are the core commitments of how I lead, and I care deeply about building inclusive spaces where we all feel supported, confident, and empowered to be the best versions of ourselves.
Giving back to a sisterhood that has been a constant through seasons of growth and change is incredibly meaningful to me, and I am committed to carrying forward the legacy that continues to uplift and inspire future generations of Theta Phi Alpha women.
Please include a short narrative on why you want to run for this position:
As a Grand Council member, I hope to continue helping the Fraternity sustain leadership, service, and lifelong connections. As a National organization, I believe we need to continue finding more ways to strengthen our membership experiences. This initiative assists all levels from chapters to alumnae and strengthen the overall foundation for future generations and continuation of Theta Phi Alpha.
Over the last 2 years, I gained further experience on the Grand Council and the strategic planning for our Fraternity’s future. I understand the lesson learned during the current term and am ready to continue the progress to help expand the strategic vision and planning.
What do you hope to bring to your position?
One of the primary focuses of 2024-2026 term has been reimagining the ‘National Volunteer Structure & Process to support Collegians and Chapters’ to support the next decade of Theta Phi Alpha. Through this process, the working group identified key opportunities to better align chapter support, highlighted clarifying communication expectations and responsibility across volunteer roles and groups. At its core, this effort addresses a simple but critical question: where/who should chapters turn to for the comprehensive support they need?
We developed a framework that integrates functional disciplines to more effectively support chapters and create a more cohesive experience. I am dedicated to carrying this vision forward through thoughtful planning and successful implementation in the coming year.
With the partnership of dedicated workgroup members, which includes several Lead National Officers, the National Office, and Grand Council, I am confident we can deliver a structure that aligns with our strategic vision. One that creates clear, consistent, and transparent channels to streamline communication from chapter officers through alumnae volunteers (serving as National Officers) to the National Office.

What drives you to volunteer for Theta Phi Alpha?
What drives me to volunteer for Theta Phi Alpha is a deep sense of gratitude for the role the organization has played in shaping both my personal growth and lifelong connections. The values of truth, justice and friendship continue to resonate in my life and influence how I show up in my career, my relationships, and my community. This is the gift of Theta Phi Alpha.
Serving as the National Vice President of Alumnae feels like a meaningful way to give back while also helping others stay connected to these values. I’m especially motivated by the opportunity to strengthen engagement across generations of alumnae and create spaces where members feel supported, appreciated, and inspired long after their collegiate experience. I believe alumnae involvement is essential to sustaining the legacy of Theta Phi Alpha, and I want to help foster opportunities that are both relevant and enriching.
I hope to continue to build lasting programs, connections, and inspiration that keep our sisterhood active and meaningful at every stage of life.
Please include a short narrative on why you want to run for this position:
I’m running for National Vice President of Alumnae because, after serving in this role for the past two years, I’ve only just begun to see what is possible and I know there is more meaningful work to be done. I am committed to strengthening alumnae engagement and creating more opportunities for connection. I recognize that lasting impact takes time, consistency, and continued momentum.
These past two years have given me valuable insight into the needs of our alumnae community, as well as the challenges and opportunities ahead. I’ve built relationships, planned for new initiatives, and laid a strong foundation that I am deeply committed to growing. Another term would allow me to expand on that work, refine our approach, and ensure that the programs and connections continue to evolve and thrive.
As my daughter prepares to enter college in a year, this commitment feels ever more personal. I’m reminded of how impactful a supportive sisterhood can be during the college years, and how important it is to carry that connection beyond graduation. I want to help ensure that today’s collegians, including women like my daughter, will one day experience the same meaningful, lifelong alumnae network that has meant so much to me.
My desire to continue serving comes from a genuine belief in the power of lifelong commitment and a responsibility to help sustain it. I’m motivated not just by what we’ve accomplished, but by what we can still achieve together with the time and dedication it deserves.
What do you hope to bring to your position?
What I hope to bring to the role of Vice President of Alumnae is a combination of continuity, fresh energy, and a deep commitment to strengthening lifelong sisterhood. Having already served in this position, I now have a clearer understanding of what works, where there are gaps, and how we can continue to grow in meaningful and sustainable ways.
Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to listen, learn, and engage with alumnae across different generations and levels of involvement. All that I’ve learned and experienced during this time is ready to be employed with greater intention - using those insights to develop programs, strengthen connections, and create more impactful opportunities for engagement. I feel prepared to take what has been developed and execute.
I want to build on the foundation already in place by expanding opportunities for alumnae to stay connected through mentorship, regional involvement, and accessible programming that meets women where they are in different stages of life. I want to provide space where alumnae feel membership still matters and that there is a place for her to engage, contribute, and be supported. As a forward-looking perspective, the needs of our members evolve, so should the ways we connect and communicate. I’m motivated to explore new ideas, strengthen collaboration across generations, and create experiences that keep our sisterhood relevant and vibrant.
Above all, I bring a genuine and authentic passion for Theta Phi Alpha and a belief in the value of sustained alumnae involvement. I want to help foster a community that not only honors our traditions but continues to grow with purpose and intention.
