The 2016-2018 Grand Council proposed changes in terminology related to Theta Phi Alpha’s extension efforts, particularly replacing the term “colony” with “emerging chapter.” We are proud of the 2018 Convention body’s support of this decision with their unanimous vote to reflect these changes in our governing documents.

I began this blog by referring to a long range strategic plan for 2007-2027. The plan was very appropriate and forward thinking in 2007. Now, we need to be able to adapt quickly to change and develop an action plan that allows us to be more fluid in response to a rapidly changing world.
