The Guard of Honor, established in 1935, is the highest award the Fraternity can bestow upon a member.
Theta Phi Alpha has great pride and respect for every Guard of Honor recipient.
The Guard of Honor symbolizes a lifetime achievement of service to the Fraternity; it is presented to alumnae members who have given long and devoted service to the national organization.
The Board of Trustees tracks all members’ service to the Fraternity and determines the award recipients.
The Guard of Honor is a guard pin of a gold Tudor rose having a sapphire center to be worn attached to a member’s badge. Each pin is numbered on the back in the order awarded to the recipient. This prestigious award is presented at National Convention during the Fraternity Night Banquet.
