The Executive Director (ED) reports to the National Executive Secretary and is responsible for the administration of National Office. The ED and her staff perform numerous services to assist chapters & alumnae associations, as well as individual members, including mailings to chapters, colonies, alumnae associations and national officers, recording the submission of reports and payments, and other tasks as required by the Grand Council.
The Penguin Shoppe is located at the National Office. The staff also maintains records and archives; field questions; processes much of the administration of Fraternity finances, processes badge orders, initiation certificates, and ritual equipment.
Sue Check is Theta Phi Alpha's Executive Director along with staff Jane Godfray, Terra Bohlar and Carol Tucker.
National Office is the center of our organization, receiving and distributing mail and reports to keep the information flowing through our Fraternity. Membership records, pledging and initiation records, and lists of officers for collegiate chapters and alumnae associations are maintained at National Office. The office houses permanent files for Theta Phi Alpha correspondence and reports, minutes of Conventions, Theta Phi Alpha publications, & the Fraternity archives. National Office also maintains a library of videotapes and other resources which can be borrowed by chapters, colonies, or alumnae associations.
